Zero Dosage Consulting is the consulting company of Maximilien BERNARDEAU, consultant winemaker in Champagne since 2008 and former Champagne Cellar Master.

Childhood

Maximilien grew up in Corsica, a small island between France and Italy also know as « mountain in the sea » or « Kalliste » (« the most beautiful » in ancient greek).

Biochemistry studies

At 18, he moved to Paris to study vegetal biology and biochemistry during 4 years at Paris VI University while discovering wine…

Discovering wine

Enjoying wine more and more he decided then to move to Burgundy to study vines, wines and winemaking during 4 years in Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin (IUVV) Jules Guyot in Dijon and became trainee at Clos de Tart, one of the most iconic French estate for 2 vintages (2006 and 2007) operating both in vines and winery for all the steps of the process.

Consultant Winemaker

After being graduated in Oenology, he then moved to Champagne to become consultant winemaker in 2008. During this period he also traveled to different contries to meet sparkling wine producers all over the world and giving conferences in different countries like US, Australia, Eastern Europe, writing articles (in UK) ang giving radio and tv interview (in Australia).

Cellar Master

After 15 years, he was hired as oenologist by Laurent-Perrier and 6 months later was appointed Cellar Master and Head of Wine of the Laurent-Perrier Group (Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Champagne De Castellane, Champagne Delamotte and Champagne Salon).
